First football ‘matrocinio’ to fight inequality in women’s sport

APPLE TREE joins forces with CFF Olympia Las Rozas, for the next three seasons, to promote gender equality and improve the visibility of women’s sports.

This collaboration is part of “Matrocinio” initiative, launched last year on International Women’s Day, which aims to promote initiatives that have a clear gender equality objective. A new term that aims to give visibility to the current sponsorship situation in a range of sectors.

This “matrocinio” will involve both a financial contribution by APPLE TREE as well as the development of a training and mentoring plan that supports and gives visibility to CFF Olympia through actions that will help the girls to receive ad hoc training in other more transversal disciplines, and thus add to the values that the club already provides them with.

Carme Miró, CEO of APPLE TREE commented: “ We are very happy to be part of the Olympia family, a club with which we share values and our passion for women’s football, and we are sure that it will be a very satisfactory path for both entities. We want to help girls achieve their ambition to be footballers and receive the media attention they deserve”.
